Acknowledges sacrifices of soldiers in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, lauded the sacrifices of security forces in restoring peace across the province, emphasizing their vital contributions to the region’s stability. He also highlighted the challenges posed by flawed policies that have compounded the province’s issues over time.
Speaking at the Fourth Convocation of Iqra National University as the chief guest on Tuesday, the Chief Minister addressed a gathering of graduates, their families, and faculty members. He expressed gratitude for the tireless efforts of the security personnel, calling their role in maintaining peace invaluable.
Investing in Youth: A National Priority
The Chief Minister underscored the importance of empowering young people, describing them as the backbone of the nation’s future. “The youth are our most valuable asset, and it is imperative to invest in their education and skills to ensure a brighter tomorrow,” Gandapur said.
Reflecting on the state of the province, he remarked, “The challenges we face today are the outcomes of past policy missteps. Despite this, the sacrifices of our security forces and the resilience of our people continue to pave the way for peace and progress.”
Celebrating Academic Excellence
During the convocation ceremony, Gandapur distributed degrees and medals to the graduating students. A total of 438 degrees were awarded, including 280 bachelor’s, 120 master’s, and 38 PhDs. Additionally, 34 high-achieving students were honored with gold medals for excelling in their respective fields.
Congratulating the graduates, their parents, and teachers, the Chief Minister acknowledged their dedication and hard work. He urged the students to remain committed to their goals, advising, “Hard work has no substitute. Stay resilient, embrace challenges, and never let a single failure deter your progress.”
He further encouraged the graduates to pursue their dreams with faith, sincerity, and determination, reminding them that celebrating the success of others and fostering collective growth is the hallmark of greatness.
Collaboration for Educational Progress
Gandapur commended Iqra National University for its remarkable achievements in the education sector, praising the institution’s rapid growth. “This university’s success within such a short time is truly commendable,” he noted, reiterating the critical role of both public and private sectors in advancing education.
“No government can succeed without the active participation of private institutions,” he said, extending his support to private sector initiatives aimed at nurturing young talent. He called on all stakeholders to equip the youth with skills that enable them to compete effectively on national and international platforms.

The Chief Minister concluded his address with a message of hope and encouragement for the graduates, urging them to use their education and skills to serve the nation. “Your hard work and knowledge will shape the future of our country. Compete with resilience, never give up, and always aim for collective success,” he advised.
