KARACHI – Sixty-six Pakistani nationals were deported from seven different countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Senegal, over one day on grounds of legal violations, immigration issues, etc.
Following orders from the authorities, the 17 men who were rounded up in Karachi were transferred to the Federal Investigation Agency’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle.
Saudi Arabia and UAE Deportees
Saudi Arabia:
- Three blocked.
- Four for begging.
- Six for drug addiction.
- 27 for breach of contracts.
- Four for overstaying their visas.
- Two for absconding from work.
- Two for forgery.
- Two for other crimes Most preferred imprisonment term.
UAE:
- Two for drug-related problems.
- Two for lost passports.
- Three who were let out of jail and then re-sent.
Expulsions from Other Countries
- Sri Lanka: One refused
- Azerbaijan: One expelled
- Iraq: One expelled on overstay
- Malaysia: Two expelled as illegal immigrants
- Italy: One gets blocked
- Senegal: Three expelled.
Pakistani Authorities Reaction In Action
The authority arrested the crime perpetrators outside of the country. Subsequently, authorities forwarded 12 deportees from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for further investigations.
Moreover, this incident underscores the importance of adhering to laws and immigration regulations while working or staying in another country. As a result, the government pledged to deal strictly with such individuals moving forward.
