KARACHI – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared Wednesday, January 1, 2025, as a Bank Holiday. On this day, all banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and microfinance banks will remain closed for public transactions.
Employee Work Schedule
Despite the public holiday, bank employees will report to work as usual for internal operations and administrative tasks.
2025 Public Holidays in Pakistan
On December 23, 2024, the federal government announced a schedule of public and optional holidays for 2025. The Cabinet Division issued the official notification, confirming 11 public holidays for the upcoming year.
