Islamabad – Another personnel of the Pakistan Rangers, who fell prey to the violence during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest in Islamabad on November 26, has been martyred.
Martyrdom of Lance Naik Muhammad Tanveer
Lance Naik Muhammad Tanveer, 37, a resident of the Narowal district, was critically injured during the violent acts carried out under the guise of a protest on November 25-26. He had been in a coma since his admission to the hospital. Despite the best medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
Lance Naik Muhammad Tanveer had been serving the sacred duty of guarding the motherland for 17 years. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and three daughters.
Violence and Destruction during PTI Protest
On November 25 and 26, PTI workers, under the cover of protest, carried out violent attacks that resulted in significant damage to government properties. These acts of vandalism and violence caused widespread destruction, leading to injuries and fatalities among security personnel.
Rangers Personnel Death Toll Surges
In light of the recent martyrdom of Lance Naik Muhammad Tanveer, the total number of Rangers personnel martyred in the violence has now risen to four. Many others were injured during these attacks.
