Some of his comments are below:<\/p>\n<p>The government may need to hike fuel prices if the conflict in the Middle East drags on.<\/p>\n<p>The government has followed fiscally prudent policies so it is \u201conly a matter of time\u201d before higher oil prices are passed on more fully.<\/p>\n<p>Important for fiscal and monetary policy to coordinate at this time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brecorder.com\/news\/40420791\/indian-central-bank-likely-selling-dollars-to-limit-indian-rupees-slide-traders-say\"><strong>Indian central bank likely selling dollars to limit Indian rupee\u2019s slide, traders say<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At its April monetary policy review, RBI decided to wait and watch. It was \u201cearly days\u201d then.
