{"id":593,"date":"2026-05-11T11:50:17","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T11:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailypakistannews.com\/?p=593"},"modified":"2026-05-11T11:50:17","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T11:50:17","slug":"iron-dome-nearly-99-effective-against-incoming-missiles-maker-rafaels-chairman-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailypakistannews.com\/?p=593","title":{"rendered":"Iron Dome nearly 99% effective against incoming missiles, maker Rafael&#8217;s chairman says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TEL AVIV: Israel\u2019s Iron Dome has been nearly 99% effective against missiles from Hamas and Hezbollah and has knocked out most missiles from Iran, the chairman of state-owned Iron Dome maker Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd said on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rafael\u2019s Yuval Steinitz told a conference of the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs that since the October 2023 Hamas raid on Israel, Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon combined have fired some 40,000 rockets at Israel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brecorder.com\/news\/40412774\/israels-davids-sling-system-failed-to-intercept-iranian-missiles\"><strong>Israel\u2019s David\u2019s Sling system failed to intercept Iranian missiles<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIron Dome intercepted most of them with success rates that (are) not 100% but close to 100%.
