Dubai – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has finally unveiled the Prize Fund Figures of the forthcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 to commence on February 19, 2025, after a significant delay.

The tournament next year will witness an alltime high increase in prize money, with the total prize money being $6.9 million—a staggering 53% increase over the 2017 tournament. The winners will take home $2.24 million, while runner up will get $1.12 million.

The prize money breakdown for the tournament is as follows:
- Winners: $2.24 million
- Runner Up: $1.12 million
- Semifinal losers: $560,000 each
- Fifth & Sixth Placed Teams: $350,000 each
- Seventh & Eighth Placed Teams: $140,000 each
- Participation Fee: Each team will receive a participation fee of $125,000 to take part.
- Group Stage Wins: Each group stage victory will pay the victorious team more than $34,000
Pakistan to Host First ICC Event Since 1996
The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 is a first because Pakistan is set to host its first ICC tournament in almost three decades. The tournament will have eight teams, which will be split into two groups of four, and the top two from each group will qualify for the semifinals.
