Pakistani Subject to criminal investigation by USCIS

Alleged U.S. immigration fraud and marriage fraud

By U.S. Global News Investigations – Special Report

WASHINGTON DC – USCIS is a federal agency of the U.S. Homeland Security Department charged with overseeing the lawful immigration to the United States. In the U.S., the current Trump administration has been focusing on aggressively rooting out violators of U.S. immigration laws and this has become a cornerstone of his presidency. Recently in the news, going to such lengths as sending violators to notorious prison camps in countries such as Venezuela as a message to the public to show how serious they are about prosecuting offenders. There has been a renewed and heavy focus on Immigration fraud in particular as part of the Trump administration's aggressive crackdown on illegal immigration. Prosecution of Immigration violators is the utmost priority.

Calculated Fraud and Malignant Behavior: USCIS Investigates Mariya Uzair

This story centers on a USCIS investigation into Mariya Uzair, a Pakistani national. The investigation exposes a deeply troubling behavior pattern of calculated fraud, coercion, and exploitation of the U.S. immigration system. The sheer coldness and depravity of the allegations set this case apart even within the context of marriage fraud, a crime that is already considered devastatingly cruel and malicious.

Mariya Uzair is accused of orchestrating an elaborate scheme to defraud the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by entering into a marriage of convenience with a U.S. citizen. The marriage was never intended to be a genuine union but a carefully planned strategic maneuver to bypass immigration laws and obtain legal residency in the United States. The plan required a level of premeditation and moral bankruptcy that is difficult to fathom.

Psychological Profile: A Portrait of Manipulation

The investigation reveals that Mariya Uzair exhibits a classic symptomology of manipulative and exploitative behavior. She has been described as a pathological liar who constructed a web of deception so intricate and deep that it has ensnared multiple victims, including her own family. Her behavior pattern aligns strongly with traits associated with Cluster B personality disorders, including narcissistic and antisocial features.

Friends and former associates describe her as possessing an unnerving ability to compartmentalize her life. She could simultaneously maintain the facade of a loving wife to her American spouse while carrying on an adulterous relationship with a coworker, Mustufa Shah. This ability to maintain multiple contradictory realities without apparent psychological distress is a hallmark of severe personality pathology.

The Adulterous Affair and the Breakdown of a Marriage

The investigation uncovered that Mariya Uzair had been engaged in a prolonged adulterous relationship with a married coworker, Mustufa Shah. Both individuals were married at the time the affair began. The relationship appears to have been conducted with flagrant disregard for the sanctity of marriage and the emotional well-being of their respective spouses. Evidence suggests the affair was not a fleeting mistake but a calculated deception maintained over an extended period.

When Mariya Uzair's husband discovered the affair, she is alleged to have used classic diversionary tactics. Instead of showing remorse, she engaged in DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender). She painted herself as the victim of an unhappy marriage and her husband as the source of her misery, deflecting entirely from her own infidelity and deception.

Mustufa Shah's actions are equally condemnable. As a married man, he pursued a relationship with a married woman, demonstrating a complete lack of moral fiber. He eventually divorced his wife and married Mariya Uzair just nine days after her divorce was finalized. This timeframe places the marriage squarely during her Islamic waiting period (iddah), which is a mandatory period of abstinence required after divorce before a Muslim woman can remarry, in order to confirm she is not pregnant with her ex-husband's child. Her father gave permission for this marriage, making him complicit in this violation of Islamic law.

The Divorce Affidavit: A Document of Deception

Perhaps nothing reveals Mariya Uzair's true character more clearly than the divorce affidavit she submitted. The document has been described by legal observers as reading like the diary of a 3rd grader, full of projection, exaggeration, and outright falsehoods. She painted a picture of her husband as a controlling, abusive, and neglectful partner, all while omitting her own extensive history of pathological behavior.

Projection, a key defense mechanism of narcissists, is on full display in the affidavit. She accuses her husband of the very behaviors she herself exhibits. She claims he was unfaithful and dishonest, accusations that ring hollow from someone engaged in a longstanding adulterous affair and immigration fraud. The document is a masterclass in victim-playing and deflection, a hallmark of cluster B personality disordered individuals.

Mariya Uzair's mother and father are also implicated in this story. They are accused of being enablers who created an environment of permissiveness that allowed her behavior to flourish unchecked.

The USCIS investigation continues. A final determination regarding Mariya Uzair's immigration status and potential criminal charges has not yet been announced. However, this case serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of immigration fraud and the devastating psychological damage inflicted by individuals with severe personality disorders.

  1. The US immigration system has been getting increasingly strict with Pakistani nationals. Hope this doesn’t set a bad precedent for others.

  2. Does anyone know what specific charges are being investigated? The article is vague on details.

  3. The legal hurdles our community faces abroad are mounting by the day. Pakistan should provide better consular support.

  4. Immigration cases can drag on for years. Hope he gets proper legal representation quickly.
